Zusammenfassung

Actalent is seeking a Logistics Specialist (Global Clinical Distribution) for a Kaiseraugst, Switzerland-based role. This is a majority onsite, long-term contract with strong extension potential, supporting global clinical distribution networks for IMPs and related shipments.

You will manage international shipments, ensure GDP compliance, handle licenses and permits, and collaborate with warehousing, transportation, and regulatory teams across regions. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree or vocational training in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Clinical Supply Chain, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate international clinical supply shipments, including investigational medicinal products (IMPs)
• Handle shipment documentation, permits, and licenses in compliance with country-specific regulations
• Monitor shipments proactively and resolve transportation or customs-related issues
• Maintain and update country-specific import/export requirements
• Serve as the primary contact for logistics and shipping-related questions from internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, transportation, customs, and supply chain teams across multiple global locations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and logistics projects

Requirements

Completed degree or vocational training in:

• Supply Chain Management
• Logistics
• Clinical Supply Chain
• Or a related field

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience

Experience in:

• Clinical distribution and logistics
• Warehouse operations
• International shipping coordination

Strong understanding of GDP (Good Distribution Practice) requirements

Business-fluent German and English

Excellent Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills

Nice to Have

• SAP or other ERP system experience
• GMP knowledge
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical trial environments
• Strong IT affinity and process-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced global environment
