Zusammenfassung

SKAN AG offers a three to four year apprenticeship program focused on warehouse management, with hands-on training across receiving, storage, picking and shipping. Apprentices rotate through departments to gain a broad view of the company, and participate in projects and events with peers from different professions.

The program includes one day per week vocational school in Liestal, and a possible vocational baccalaureate.

Qualifikationen

• Good secondary school leaving certificate or very good Realschule leaving certificate.
• Good performance in mathematical subjects.
• Good knowledge of German.
• Willingness and motivation to apply yourself at school and at work.
• Pleasure in physical work.

Aufgaben

• Goods receipt (control, recording, storage)
• Warehousing (inventory, compaction control)
• Outgoing goods (picking, returns processing)
• Shipping (loading of lorries, containers and rail)
• Miscellaneous (write-offs, destruction, environmentally friendly disposal)
• Training in warehouse management
• Additional insights into the assembly, freight and project management departments possible
• We offer training at our head office in Allschwil
