Zusammenfassung

Belimed Life Science AG in Sulgen, Switzerland, seeks a Software Engineer US to develop PLC/HMI software for life science systems and to coordinate with teams in Switzerland and Slovenia. You will realize concepts based on order specs, create software documentation, and oversee testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities include project management of the automation part, development of design documents and customer instructions, and supporting retrofits and global service. Travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Basic training in electrical engineering and a degree in electrical engineering/automation.
• Proven PLC programming experience with Siemens S7 (TIA-Portal) and related tools.
• Experience in plant/machine or apparatus engineering.
• Knowledge of VISIWIN, WinCC/WinCC flex and RSLogix/FactoryTalk is advantageous.
• German language is an advantage but not required.

Aufgaben

• Realize concepts and customer-specific requirements from order specs and functional descriptions.
• Create PLC and HMI software according to QA guidelines.
• Take responsibility for project management of the automation part.
• Develop software documentation and customer documents.
• Commission systems in factory or at customers and supervise test runs.
• Coordinate interfaces to customer DCS and visualization systems.
• Support automation retrofits and customer service globally.
