Job summary

Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in Aigle, Switzerland, is seeking a governance and legal professional to oversee judicial bodies, draft decisions, and manage budgets within the department.

You will contribute to constitutional and institutional documents, oversee federation governance, and participate in contracts related to events, sponsorship, and media, while shaping cycling governance and sporting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the UCI’s judicial bodies, including drafting decisions, coordinating cases handled by members of the department and managing the related budgets.
• Contribute to drafting documents relating to the governance of the UCI and its Continental Confederations, including the Constitution and other institutional documents.
• Oversee matters relating to the governance of UCI member National Federations;
• Participate in the negotiation, drafting and monitoring of the implementation of selected contracts (event organisation, sponsorship, media, etc.);
• Contribute to the management of strategic matters relating to the organisation and regulation of cycling;
• Participate in drafting sporting regulations for the various cycling disciplines;
• Liaise with external counsel representing the UCI in court proceedings or arbitration matters.
