Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is expanding its Proton Therapy Imaging (PTI) group in Switzerland, Hungary and Germany and seeks a Verification Engineer to join our international team. Your focus will be on testing new products and managing a dedicated test laboratory, ensuring rigorous verification and traceability from requirements to tests.

You will work closely with system engineering and software teams (C# / C++) to design verification plans, execute test cases, and document objective evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Biomedical Engineering.
• 3–5 years verification experience in medical devices.
• Self-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product verification is successful with objective test evidence.
• Define verification strategy and develop verification plans.
• Design and maintain verification test cases; execute tests and record results.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and verification tests.
• Lead the local test laboratory and coordinate the test system.
• Collaborate with system engineering, software development (C# / C++) and project management.
• Perform informal engineering testing to provide feedback to engineers.
• Evaluate imaging workflows to identify potential new developments.
• Combine verification tasks with additional responsibilities in HW/SW system engineering or software development.
• Ensure state-of-the-art test environment including AI-based test automation.
