The role involves developing technical solutions for inspection standards, leading lyophilization and packaging procedures, and implementing robust manufacturing processes with strong documentation and collaboration across teams.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical process development, manufacturing, formulation, lyophilization, packaging or visual inspection.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience implementing practical manufacturing or analytical procedures.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team.
• Structured documentation and clear communication.

To support the expansion of our visual inspection test set manufacturing team, we are looking for an experienced scientist to contribute to our test set manufacturing operations.

About the Position

Location: Basel, Switzerland (Rosental area), on site

Start Date: as soon as possible

Employment Rate: 100% (permanent position)

Single contributor without direct reports

Tasks

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions for challenges in visual inspection reference standards and test set manufacturing.


• Lead the development of lyophilization cycles, primary packaging preparation procedures, and visual inspection defect creation procedures.


• Design, establish, and implement robust and reproducible manufacturing processes.


• Support manufacturing scientists with daily technical challenges, troubleshooting, and scientific guidance.


• Translate development activities into clear procedures, protocols, and manufacturing documentation.


• Continuously improve manufacturing workflows, methods, and technical capabilities.


• Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners on process development and implementation.


• Support the routine manufacturing of visual inspection test sets.

Requirements

Your Profile

• MSc or Bsc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.


• Relevant hands- on experience in pharmaceutical process development, manufacturing, formulation, lyophilization, primary packaging, or visual inspection.


• Strong scientific problem- solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Experience developing and implementing practical manufacturing or analytical procedures.


• Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary manufacturing team.
