Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior SAP Data Architect to lead the target data flow architecture from source ledgers into SAP Group Reporting and manage ETL/ELT processes. You will ensure IFRS/local GAAP alignment and drive data quality across finance and IT teams.

In this role you will coordinate testing (SIT/UAT), design standardized inbound data processes, and supervise the inbound data work stream within consolidation programs, while planning milestones and risk dependencies in a global setting.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of experience with SAP Group Reporting and consolidation tools.
• Experience with SAP ECCS, SEM-BCS, or SAP Public Cloud.
• Knowledge of group accounting processes and financial consolidation.
• Bachelor or Master in Finance or Finance/IT.
• Understanding SAP data structures: ledgers, COA, and dimensions.
• Experience with interfaces/ETL, data mappings, and reconciliations.

• Support change management, training and handover to BAU teams.

• Ensure solutions support IFRS, local GAAP and management reporting requirements
• Coordinate ETL/ELT processes from source systems to consolidation
• Drive data quality improvements with Finance, Group Accounting and IT
• Design and document standardized inbound data processes
• Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements, align timelines and resolve cross-functional issues
• Communicate impacts of system or process changes on Group Reporting and local finance teams
• Lead the inbound data work stream within SAP Group Reporting and consolidation programs
• Plan and track work stream deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies
• Coordinate functional and technical testing, including SIT and UAT, and manage defect resolution
• Support change management, training and handover to BAU teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP ECCS, SEM-BCS and/or SAP Group Reporting
• Experience in SAP Public Cloud
• Experience designing SAP GRDC
• Knowledge of Group Accounting processes, especially Financial Consolidation
• Bachelor or Master in Finance or Finance/IT
• Understanding of SAP data structures, including charts of accounts, ledgers, FS items and dimensions
• Practical experience with interfaces/ETL, data mappings and reconciliations between source systems and consolidation tools
• Experience planning, tracking and delivering milestones and managing risks and dependencies
• Ability to work effectively with Group Finance, BU Finance, IT and external partners
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate between finance and technical teams
• Experience with SIT/UAT, test case definition and defect management
• Structured, analytical and problem-solving approach
• High attention to detail and quality, particularly regarding financial data
• Resilience and comfort working under time pressure during closing cycles
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
• Experience working in complex, global programmes, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Strong collaboration skills and a one-team attitude
