RIVR Technologies AG in Zürich is seeking an expert in imitation learning and generative AI to advance autonomous robot control for real-world doorstep delivery. You will develop imitation learning algorithms (including diffusion policies), design datasets from demonstrations, and collaborate with the reinforcement learning team to leverage simulated and real-world data.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Robotics, or ML.
• 5 years of industry or research experience; PhD applicable.
• Strong DL fundamentals including supervised learning, self-supervised learning, neural networks, policy optimization, imitation learning, and generative AI techniques (Diffusion Models such as DALL-E 2 and Stable Diffusion).
• Background in robotics including autonomy and manipulation.
• Experience deploying artificial neural networks on hardware.
• Ability to write production-level code in modern C++.
• Ability to prototype algorithms and train deep neural networks in Python.

Aufgaben

• Develop imitation learning algorithms (e.g., diffusion policies) for autonomous robot actions.
• Design, test, and refine algorithms for real-world autonomy and manipulation tasks.
• Construct datasets for imitation learning from demonstrations or expert analytics.
• Streamline workflow to expand datasets with new tasks.
• Collaborate with RL team to leverage simulated and real-world data.
• Implement deployment-ready code for the robot, optimized for hardware constraints.
• Build, lead and mentor an exceptional team of software engineers.
• Provide expert guidance to product managers and executives for strategic decisions.
• Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
