Zurich in Zürich is seeking a Senior Business Solution Architect – Finance Transformation to translate business needs into an integrated solution architecture. You will guide platform choices across planning, consolidation, reporting and analytics, ensuring the right tools are used consistently.

This role requires strong Finance domain knowledge, experience with SAP, Anaplan and Databricks, and the ability to lead design across global programmes while collaborating with Finance and IT

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in Finance / Group Finance processes (planning, consolidation, reporting).
• Proven track record in solution architecture within Finance transformation.
• Experience with SAP finance platforms (S/4HANA Finance, SAP Group Reporting).
• Knowledge of Anaplan and Databricks is a strong advantage.
• Solid data and integration architecture knowledge.
• Experience in complex, global programmes (insurance/financial services).
• Ability to lead solution design across multiple projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior Finance and IT teams.

Aufgaben

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Group Finance processes (planning, consolidation, reporting, analytics and performance management).
• Ensure each process is supported by the most suitable platform (e.g. SAP Group Reporting for consolidation, Anaplan for planning, Databricks for data and analytics).
• Translate requirements into solution designs, integration patterns and implementation options, balancing standardisation, flexibility and cost.
• Challenge and refine business requirements to fit platform capabilities and long term architecture principles.
• Define how Finance platforms integrate (SAP, Anaplan, Databricks, reporting/BI tools) to deliver consistent, governed data for planning and reporting.
• Contribute to the Finance data architecture (data domains, models, flows, lineage) and ensure that key data is managed as a single source of truth.
• Support solution review and design authority processes, adhering to architecture.
• Act as lead Business Solution Architect across key Finance Transformation projects and technology initiatives.
• Provide guidance to project teams on solution options, trade offs and technical risks.
• Review key design artefacts and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Group Finance leadership, BU Finance, Group IT and platform owners.
• Explain complex architecture topics in clear business language and build consensus around design decisions.
• Contribute to communication and education on the target Finance technology landscape.
• Propose improvements to the Finance architecture, including better use of Anaplan and Databricks.
