Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Project Chemical Process Engineer (w/m/d) in Geneva. You will lead and execute chemical process engineering activities within a major CAPEX project, performing design calculations, reactor sizing, and distillation optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Chemical Process Engineer in the chemical industry.
• Strong hands-on expertise in process engineering, reactors, calculations, and sizing.
• Proven Brownfield project experience in chemical production facilities.
• Solid understanding of process design and technical problem-solving.
• Experience with engineering and process simulation tools.
• English is mandatory; French is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute chemical process engineering activities within a major industrial CAPEX project.
• Perform process design, calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Provide technical reactor design, assessment, and sizing expertise.
• Design, assess and optimize distillation processes and columns.
• Support Brownfield projects and supervise external partners and suppliers.
• Review and challenge engineering proposals and studies.
• Participate in commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and process optimisation.
• Drive technical topics and act as the project team's process engineering expert.
