RIVR, part of Amazon is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to own GPU/SoC carrier boards from schematic to production. You will integrate high-speed interfaces, design sensor front-ends, and manage supplier relationships for reliable, compact boards used in real-world doorstep robotics.

With 5+ years in board design for GPU/SoC modules, you will drive milestones, coordinate across teams, and ensure cost-effective, high-performance hardware for mobile Physical AI platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years designing carrier boards or motherboards for GPU/SoC compute modules.
• Experience owning a board design end-to-end from requirements through production release.
• Strong schematic capture and PCB layout skills (Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent).

Aufgaben

• Design and own carrier boards for GPU/SoC compute modules end-to-end: requirements → schematic → layout → bring-up → production release.
• Integrate high-speed interfaces (multi-gig Ethernet, DDR4, PCIe, MIPI CSI-2, GMSL SerDes, USB 3.x).
• Design electrical front-ends for sensors and modules (cameras, LIDARs, RADARs, WiFi/5G).
• Manage supplier and partner relationships (SoC vendors, connectors, contract manufacturers, module providers).
• Evaluate components and suppliers for cost, availability, quality, and roadmap fit.
• Define development milestones and timelines; coordinate across internal teams and external partners.
• Make trade-offs (features vs. schedule vs. cost) and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
• Perform board bring-up, debug, and validation of high-speed interfaces.
• Provide signal integrity guidance for PCB layout (impedance control, length matching, stackup).
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams.
