Job summary

Centravo Group in Lyss seeks a Head of Quality Assurance & Process Engineering to lead a small QA team and drive the integrated management system. You will coordinate between central QA, sites, and stakeholders, shaping risk management for food safety and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, German and English fluency, and a background in regulated production. Expect a dynamic, hands-on environment with digital tools and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in regulated production (food/pharma).
• 5+ years leadership in a comparable position with references.
• Very good German and English; French is advantageous.
• Completed BSc degree in food technology, food sciences, or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• First sparring partner, coordinator, coach for five QA staff.
• Link central QA with eight sites and stakeholders.
• Sparring partner to Head of Quality Management and report to CQO.
• Develop digitalised risk management system for food safety/quality.
• Own PDCA-based process implementation from idea to line staff.
• Deputy epidemic officer.

Head of Quality Assurance & Process Engineering (m/f/d), 90 - 100%

What you can achieve:

• First sparring partner, coordinator, coach, and team builder for five highly qualified, motivated employees
• Link between the central quality management of Centravo Holding AG, the eight operational sites, and internal and external stakeholders
• Sparring partner of the Head of Quality Management and direct report to the Head of QHSE (CQO)
• Exemplify service provider mentality, positive communication, and appreciative leadership
• Support the Head of Quality Management and the operations
• o in building a highly digitalised and automated risk management system for food safety and quality with the goal of an Integrated Management System
• o in food safety and quality incidents
• Dynamically ensure smooth daily operations with your pool of employees
• Ownership for the implementation of processes and corrective actions according to the PDCA cycle (from idea to line employee)
• Deputy epidemic officer

What you bring:

• At least 10 years of work experience in a regulated production environment (food, pharma)
• At least five years of leadership experience in a comparable position with corresponding references
• Very good knowledge of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 (ISO 14000 and 45000 advantageous)
