The Russian teaching position is located in the Language Training Programme, Centre for Learning and Multilingualism (CLM), Human Resources Management Service in United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG). The Language Training Programme promotes linguistic balance and multilingualism within the Secretariat and improves the language abilities of staff, as mandated by the General Assembly in its resolutions 2480 B (XXIII), 43/224D, and 50/11. In this regard, the Language Training Programme offers language courses in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish to staff members of the United Nations Secretariat and related agencies, diplomats and staff from the country missions to the United Nations. The incumbent reports to the Training Officer in the Language Training Programme.
