Job summary

Viseca is seeking a hands-on Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, operate and improve our enterprise Kubernetes platform in a PCI DSS-regulated environment. You will own incidents, architecture and mentoring, working with development, security and infrastructure teams to keep the platform reliable and secure.

Responsibilities include managing Rancher/RKE2 clusters, Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps, observability with Prometheus, Dynatrace and Grafana, and driving root-cause analysis after

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production
• Strong SRE practices and reliability mindset
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows
• Solid Linux networking and storage troubleshooting
• Proficiency with observability tools and incident management
• Ability to mentor and lead engineers in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Design, operate and evolve Rancher/RKE2 clusters, provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Automate infrastructure and delivery with Terraform, Helm, Argo CD and GitOps.
• Engineer core platform services: networking, ingress, storage, secrets, observability and DR.
• Build observability with Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Lead incident response with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
