Job summary

The United Nations Office at Geneva, Library & Archives, seeks a seasoned project manager to lead the Strategic Heritage Plan renovations, overseeing planning, risk, logistics, and operations for collections moves during closures.

You will shape the knowledge systems framework, develop the monitoring and evaluation framework, support change management, supervise staff, draft reports, coordinate communications, and represent the Library & Archives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in information management, library science, archival sciences, social sciences, or related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience may substitute for advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHP renovations, including project planning, risk management, logistics, and operations for collection moves.
• Assist management with coordination, reporting, and follow-up during renovations and in designing future knowledge systems framework.
• Oversee partnership frameworks by mapping stakeholders and liaising with experts to maintain Library & Archives as a global study centre.
• Develop and maintain Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, including analytical approaches and task groups for testing.
• Provide change management support and assist management including staff supervision, budgeting, and reporting.
