Zusammenfassung

Adaptyv is building an automated biolab where AI-driven platforms design and optimize protein experiments. The kinetics scientist will validate binding curves, judge data quality, and explain results to customers on calls, bridging lab insight with design decisions.

You will work closely with production, QC, and customer success, while leveraging Python/R for high-volume data analysis and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, or related field, plus 3+ years hands-on with binding kinetics.
• Deep SPR and BLI experience with Biacore, Carterra, Octet, Gator; interpret sensorgrams.
• Strong data analysis skills using Python or R; comfortable with AI tooling and large datasets.
• Customer-facing communication experience and ability to explain complex results to non-specialists.

Aufgaben

• Review lab binding data and decide what gets delivered, flagged, or re-run.
• Judge curves; distinguish real off-rate from drift or artifacts.
• Review data from other assays (thermostability, expression, developability, enzyme activity).
• Communicate results to customers; explain measurements, confidence, and next steps.
• Turn review into experimental design decisions (re-orientation, concentration series, or assay switch).
• Analyze data at batch level to find patterns; feed learnings back to software and production teams.
• Collaborate with production, QC, and customer success.
