Swisslinx near Zurich is seeking a Kafka Platform Engineer / Operations Specialist to ensure the stability of critical integration platforms. You will administer Apache Kafka and Axway SecureTransport, resolve incidents, perform maintenance, and automate recurring tasks while collaborating with Infra, DevOps, and security teams.

The role requires 8+ years of Kafka experience, strong troubleshooting and production support skills, and fluent English; German is a strong advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable technical qualification; equivalent hands-on experience welcome.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with Apache Kafka administration and operations
• Experience with Axway SecureTransport
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
• Solid DevOps, automation, Linux, and monitoring knowledge
• Experience in complex enterprise environments
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
• Financial services experience is a strong advantage
• English fluent; German is a strong advantage.

As a Kafka Platform Engineer / Operations Specialist, you will ensure the stability and reliable operation of business-critical integration platforms. Your focus will be on administering and supporting Apache Kafka and Axway SecureTransport, resolving incidents, troubleshooting technical issues, performing maintenance and operational improvements, and supporting secure data exchange with external partners.
