You will stay hands-on, design and review code, and productize the platform with documentation, SLOs and observability while reducing single points of failure and preparing for cloud-enabled services when allowed.

Fluency in English is essential; German is an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on engineering leadership with platform or infrastructure scope.
• Deep production-grade experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming.
• Strong knowledge of messaging semantics, exactly-once vs at-least-once, and secure file-transfer patterns.
• Proven ability to lead senior engineers and ship code.
• Experience migrating legacy platforms in regulated environments is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead a compact, senior team responsible for three integration lanes: event streaming, transactional messaging, and file transfer.
• Own the self-built event-driven delivery platform and productize it with documentation, SLOs, and observability.
• Design, review and contribute code alongside engineers in a player-coach role.
• Build self-service provisioning, onboarding templates and golden paths for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, security and compliance to set guardrails and decisions.
