Olten social region is seeking a Lawyer (60%) to support the staff in casework on social assistance, child and adult protection, and administrative law. The position is based in Olten and involves independent correspondence and guidance in complex legal matters.

You will review decisions, draft foundational documents, and assist with hearings and negotiations within an interdisciplinary team. Start date by arrangement, with an emphasis on self-organisation and professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Review of complex social assistance decisions, handling of objections and complaints, preparation of criminal charges and statements, support with complex case closures
• Legal drafting of foundational documents and active support of the social commission (e.g. in legal hearings, negotiations)
• Review of cost contributions in child protection measures or damage cases in adult protection
• Support with questions regarding ZUG, various social insurances, and data protection

The Olten social region provides services in the field of statutory social work for the city of Olten as well as for the municipalities of Trimbach, Winznau, Wisen, and Hauenstein-Ifenthal. We provide financial aid and social work support for people who require economic social assistance or when a guardianship is established due to a state of incapacity.

The Olten social region is breaking new ground and creating new forms of collaboration. The legal specialist office is an important step in this direction – as a Lawyer, you support the staff in their casework, offer guidance in complex legal matters, and conduct independent correspondence.
