Job summary

Axpo in Baden is seeking a strategy professional for a 12-month fixed-term role starting 1 January 2027. You will join the Corporate Strategy team to help shape Axpo's strategy with analytical rigor and digitalization.

This position offers the chance to contribute to strategy reporting and communications while collaborating across leadership and finance functions. You hold a Master’s degree and bring 2–3 years of strategy experience, with fluency in English and a good grasp of German.

• Master's degree in engineering, economics, or business administration.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in strategy management, management consulting, or energy sector.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as AxpoGPT for efficient work.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual strategy dialogue and strategy reporting for the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
• Help develop strategy reporting, drive automation and digitalization of processes.
• Support development and implementation of strategy communication to strengthen Axpo's strategy visibility.
• Contribute content on Axpo's strategy across reports, presentations and digital formats.
• Foster internal exchange with regular updates and knowledge sharing.

What you will do:

• Support the preparation of the annual strategy dialogue and strategy reporting for the Executive Board and Board of Directors

• Help shape the continuous development of strategy reporting, question existing processes, and drive automation and digitalization

• Support the development and implementation of strategy communication to strengthen the visibility and understanding of Axpo's strategy

• Contribute to creating content on Axpo's strategy – from reports and presentations to digital formats

• Foster internal exchange through regular updates, contributing to knowledge sharing and strategic alignment

What you bring & who you are:

• You hold a Master's degree in engineering, economics, or business administration

• You bring two to three years of relevant professional experience – ideally in strategy management, management consulting, or the energy sector

• You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with a solution-oriented approach

• You use AI tools such as our internal AxpoGPT to work efficiently and with a future-oriented mindset

• You speak English at a native or business-fluent level; German is a plus
