Bio-Techne in Switzerland is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to the backend of our digital pathology software. You will help evolve the architecture, optimize image rendering and analysis, and collaborate with engineers and scientists in R&D.

The role requires a MSc/BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 1+ years of OO programming in C++ and/or Python, and fluency in English. OpenGL/Qt experience is a plus, as is knowledge of computer vision.

Qualifikationen

• BsC/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent in professional experience.
• 1+ years of object-oriented programming in C++ and/or Python.
• OpenGL and/or Qt experience is a plus.
• Experience in computer vision / image processing is a plus.

• Development of the digital pathology image analysis backend software.
• Optimization of image rendering and navigation.
• Participation in the image analysis workflow architecture.
• Contributing to software QA activities such as unit testing and documentation.
