Zusammenfassung

HCLTech is expanding its Zurich team and seeking a Junior Java Fullstack Developer. You will support the development of internal applications, implement new features and modernize existing software, contributing to both frontend and backend work.

You will grow your skills in Java, SQL and modern web technologies while collaborating with experienced developers and analysts. A university degree and a keen willingness to learn are required, with German and English communication skills valued.

Qualifikationen

We are looking for Junior Java Fullstack Developer

Are you interested in Java, modern web technologies and professional application development? Then you are in the right place!

You will become part of our development team and work on the further development of our internal applications. You will support experienced developers in implementing new features, modernizing existing applications and automating business processes.

You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in Java, SQL and modern web technologies. You will contribute fresh ideas, learn from experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility in software development.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal software solutions based on modern technologies and established development standards (Java, SQL, REST APIs and modern web technologies)
• Support the implementation of web applications in both frontend and backend.
• Help automate internal business processes and continuously improve existing applications.
• Analyze requirements together with business experts, business analysts and experienced developers, and implement them technically.
• Contribute to architecture, design and implementation decisions.
• Support testing, error analysis, code reviews, documentation and the rollout of new features.

Your profile

You…

• have a university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, business information systems or a comparable field.
• have gained initial practical experience in software development, for example through internships, study projects or first professional experience.
• have knowledge of Java and are interested in modern backend and frontend development.
• have basic knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
• Initial experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React or similar technologies is an advantage.
• enjoy clean code, structured work and technical challenges.
• think analytically, work in a solution-oriented way and want to continuously develop yourself.
• are team-oriented, communicative and enjoy contributing your own ideas.
• Good German and English skills complete your profile.
