Jobtailor in Switzerland (Bern) seeks a Senior Java Backend Developer to drive backend design and implementation, owning components and cloud migrations in a hybrid setup.

You will ensure Clean Code, automated testing, and collaboration with customers, focusing on Java 17+, Spring, REST, and containerized deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Completed higher education in computer science (HF, university of applied sciences, university, or ETH).
• At least five years of experience in professional software development projects.
• Very strong knowledge of Java, ideally Java 17+, as well as Spring Boot or the Spring Framework.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, relational databases, and automated unit and integration testing.
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Very good German and good English skills.
