Qualifikationen

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Software, Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or a related field).
• Highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• No CERN fellowship/graduate contract history; University degree required; PhD not eligible.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain applications for monitoring and control of vacuum instrumentation using LabVIEW and Python.
• Contribute to software used with gas analysers, pressure gauges and related vacuum equipment.
• Improve tools for acquisition, logging, analysis and visualisation of data.
• Participate in the integration of new instruments and functionalities into the control infrastructure.
• Support testing, validation and deployment of software on operational systems.
• Translate operational needs into robust software solutions with engineers and users.
• Document developments and configurations on internal documentation platforms.
• Support installed applications and follow-up maintenance.
