CERN's Cryogenic Group in Geneva seeks a full member to advance cryogenic instrumentation, control systems, and electronics in a multidisciplinary setting accompanying R&D, design, reception, and maintenance of tooling and test benches for validation and commissioning operations.

You will contribute to developing sensors and heaters for harsh accelerator environments, maintain LabVIEW test benches, calibrate sensors, and provide field support across CERN accelerators and cryogenic facilities to

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience.
• PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop cryogenic instrumentation such as pressure, level, temperature, or heater with robust design and qualification for accelerator environments.
• Maintain LabVIEW-based test benches and develop new facilities for qualification of radiation-tolerant electronics and sensor calibration.
• Provide field support across CERN accelerators and cryogenic plants, including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair to ensure reliable operation.
