Job summary

LGT Capital Partners Ltd. is seeking a junior professional to help transform our finance function into an AI-enabled, data-driven organization in a hands-on role.

You will redesign processes and develop automation and analytics solutions while building finance and controlling expertise in an international asset management environment. In this role, you will drive automation, analytics, and AI-based solutions end-to-end, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and deliver actionable insights

Qualifications

• Degree with strong quantitative/technical focus.
• First professional experience translating technical skills into practical business solutions, ideally in asset management or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with data and automation tools (Python, SQL, Power BI) and databases.
• Strong interest in AI-enabled ways of working and end-to-end solutions.
• Advanced Excel and MS 365 proficiency.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting; experience in controlling/reporting tools is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and analytical with structured approach.
• Excellent communication in English; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-enabled finance transformation end-to-end by redesigning and streamlining processes.
• Design automation, analytics and AI-based solutions to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
• Analyze finance processes, define requirements and identify gaps for scalable solutions.
• Support and shape finance system landscape with scalable reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions for faster data access and decision support.
• Maintain and enhance management reporting with emphasis on relevance and automation.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with data and automation.
• Prepare analyses, deep dives and scenario assessments for key decisions.
