Michael Page is recruiting for a Finance/Accounting professional in a multilingual environment within a financial services firm. The role sits in the Accounting department, handling entries, reconciliations, and treasury coordination to ensure accurate books.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of accounting experience, IFRS knowledge preferred, and fluency in French and English, with strong IT skills and discretion in handling confidential information.

Qualifikationen

• Accounting qualification and/or knowledge of accounting principles, ideally IFRS.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar accounting function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Reliable, rigorous, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong team player with a high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Joining the Accounting department;
• Recording accounting entries for various companies and bank accounts;
• Processing bank transactions, intercompany operations, investment movements, foreign exchange revaluations, accruals, and prepayments;
• Reviewing and controling supplier invoices and expenses;
• Coordinating with Treasury for supplier payments;
• Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Assisting with quarterly funding requests and management accounts;
• Supporting annual budgeting and year-end closing activities;
• Maintaining accounting, banking, and administrative records;
• Performing ad hoc analyses and supporting additional finance-related projects as required;
• Reporting to the clients and the Management;
• Participation to the day to day in the office.
