Finders SA, on behalf of a Swiss banking institution in Geneva, seeks a banking accounting professional to cover general ledger, month/quarter/yearly closings and financial statements in accordance with Swiss standards. The role offers genuine autonomy within a small team and direct involvement with decision-makers in a stable, collaborative environment.

You will produce regulatory reports to the SNB via FIRE, monitor balance sheet positions, contribute to prudential indicators and support

Qualifikationen

• Degree or professional training in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking accounting in Switzerland.
• Proven experience in regulatory reporting (SNB / FINMA) and SNB reporting via FIRE.
• Excellent command of Excel and standard IT tools.

Aufgaben

• Maintain general banking accounting, including the general ledger, journal entries and controls
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable Swiss standards
• Produce and submit regulatory reports to the Swiss National Bank (SNB) via FIRE (mandatory)
• Control and analyse balance sheet positions and perform reconciliations
• Contribute to the monitoring of regulatory ratios and prudential indicators
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Liaise with internal teams, including Operations, Risk and Compliance
• Actively contribute to process improvements and the optimisation of tools

Candidate Profile:

• Degree or professional training in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking accounting in Switzerland
• Proven experience in regulatory reporting (SNB / FINMA)
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SNB reporting via FIRE
• Excellent command of Excel and standard IT tools
• Fluent French and good professional English
• Reliable, rigorous, autonomous and proactive personality
• Comfortable working in a demanding, close-knit environment
• Valid Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland
• Resident in Switzerland or in the nearby cross-border area around Geneva (cross-border commuters accepted)
• 100% position – full availability required
