Zusammenfassung

Michael Page International (Switzerland) SA is seeking an accounting professional to join the Accounting department in Geneva. You will record entries for multiple entities, handle bank transactions and intercompany movements, and support quarterly funding and year-end activities.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in accounting, strong IT and Excel skills, IFRS knowledge, and fluency in French and English, with a detail-oriented, discreet, and team-driven approach.

Qualifikationen

• Accounting qualification and/or knowledge of accounting principles, ideally IFRS.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Reliable, rigorous, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong team player with discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Join the Accounting department and record entries for multiple entities and bank accounts.

• Review supplier invoices and expenses; coordinate with Treasury for supplier payments.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

About Our Client

Job Description

• Joining the Accounting department;
• Recording accounting entries for various companies and bank accounts;
• Processing bank transactions, intercompany operations, investment movements, foreign exchange revaluations, accruals, and prepayments;
• Reviewing and controling supplier invoices and expenses;
• Coordinating with Treasury for supplier payments;
• Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Assisting with quarterly funding requests and management accounts;
• Supporting annual budgeting and year-end closing activities;
• Maintaining accounting, banking, and administrative records;
• Performing ad hoc analyses and supporting additional finance-related projects as required;
• Reporting to the clients and the Management;
• Participation to the day to day in the office.

The Successful Applicant
