McDonald's Suisse invites applications for a 6-month IT Operations & Technology Intern in Crissier. You will join our RUN team for daily operations and our BUILD team for deployments, gaining hands-on experience across IT disciplines within a large international company.

No prior professional experience is required; curiosity, willingness to learn, and teamwork are valued as you support testing, documentation, and process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Recently completed or currently completing a diploma in Information Technology (BSc or MSc in IT, CFC Informatique, Brevet Fédéral d'Informaticien or equivalent IT qualification).
• Strong interest in technology and desire to build a career in IT.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Fluent in French and/or English.

Aufgaben

• Support the RUN team with daily activities and administrative tasks.
• Assist with data management and operational reporting activities.
• Assist with coordinating technology deployments and maintaining IT laboratory environment.
• Perform functional testing of new software releases and document results.
• Create and maintain internal and external support documentation and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and support partners.

IT Operations & Technology Intern (100%)

to join our team for a6-month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience within a large international company.

No prior professional experience is required. What matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, positive attitude, and readiness to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed. During the internship, you will work closely with both our RUN team (responsible for daily operations and support) and our BUILD team (responsible for projects and technology deployments), giving you exposure to a wide range of technologies, business processes, and IT disciplines.

IT Operations Support

• Support the RUN team with daily activities and administrative tasks
• Use existing tools and scripts to support business and restaurant operations
• Assist with data management and operational reporting activities

Project & Deployment Support

• Support the BUILD team in preparing and coordinating technology deployments
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the IT laboratory environment
• Prepare systems and equipment required for software promotions, pilot programs, and testing activities

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform functional testing of new software releases and technology solutions
• Document test results and help track identified issues
• Support user acceptance testing and pilot activities

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create and maintain internal and external support documentation
• Develop and improve operational workflows and support procedures
• Help build knowledge base articles and user guides

Team & Business Support

• Assist the IT Leadership Team with various operational and administrative requests
• Help organize internal meetings, events, workshops, and team activities
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and support partners

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• Recently completed or currently completing a diploma in Information Technology (Bsc or Msc degree in IT, CFC Informatique, Brevet Fédéral d'Informaticien or equivalent IT qualification)
• Strong interest in technology and desire to build a career in IT
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Fluent in French and/or English

Highly Valued

• Any hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows environments, and IT support activities
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar)
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, IP addressing) and IT troubleshooting principles
• Previous internship, student project, or personal technology projects
• Interest in restaurant technology, retail, or operational environments
