Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Switzerland seeks a cost-conscious IT finance specialist to strengthen the financial control of IT services and improve cost transparency. You will bridge IT and finance, producing analyses and driving cost-efficient IT service delivery.

You will collaborate with IT and finance teams, use AI to automate processes, and contribute to IT Service Management projects across multiple Swiss locations and remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Completed higher professional education in business information systems, business administration or equivalent.
• Experience in finance, ideally controlling, or in IT with basic understanding of the other field.
• Strong interest in solving complex problems.
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• Very good German and good English communication skills for interaction with customers and colleagues, including colleagues in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the financial control of operational cost elements.
• Carry out relevant tasks within financial processes independently.
• Produce detailed analyses in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
• Implement measures derived from analysis results.
• Advise and support the immediate working environment on financial management topics.
• Help improve the cost efficiency of IT service delivery.
• Use AI and automation to optimize financial management processes.
• Contribute actively to projects linked to IT Service Management.
