Job summary

Michael Page International is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst in Geneva to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. You will translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions while collaborating with distributed teams across time zones.

The role requires strong experience in international organizations, exposure to global environments, and a solid background in Agile delivery frameworks. English fluency is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience.
• Experience in international companies with global exposure.
• Demonstrated Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• Ability to work with distributed teams across time zones.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Support design, development, and implementation of IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work with Product Owners, Developers, and QA in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Create and maintain documentation such as BRs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements and validate delivered solutions against expectations.
• Support testing activities including UAT and contribute to QA.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and IT solutions.

• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements and validate delivered solutions against business expectations

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst (typically 5+ years)
• Strong experience working in international companies, with exposure to global and multicultural environments
• Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and integration concepts
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
