Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge business and IT across global teams in Geneva. You will translate needs into functional specifications and work within Agile delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in international organizations, strong stakeholder engagement, and proficiency with JIRA, Confluence or Azure DevOps. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Experience in international/global environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements and validate delivered solutions against business expectations.
• Support testing activities including UAT and contribute to quality assurance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and IT solutions.

• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and integration concepts
