Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Administrator based in Switzerland.

We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented IT Administrator to support the day-to-day technology operations of a fully remote team. In this role, you will manage user access, oversee IT equipment, and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. You will provide first-line technical support, maintain internal IT documentation, and help teams make effective use of their digital tools. You will also contribute to SaaS administration, software expense tracking, and IT asset management. Working closely with HR, managers, and internal teams, you will help maintain secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your IT administration expertise in a dynamic, collaborative, and technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities
  • Manage access requests through the IT Service Desk, including validating requests, checking approvals, granting, modifying, and revoking permissions, and maintaining accurate service records.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding by aligning access requirements with managers and HR, managing account permissions, and overseeing IT equipment distribution and returns.
  • Handle equipment purchase and reimbursement requests, and configure devices for new employees according to established IT standards.
  • Maintain and regularly audit IT asset records, including phones, streaming devices, televisions, and gaming consoles.
  • Track SaaS-related expenses by collecting invoices, updating financial records, and preparing relevant information for the finance department.
  • Conduct internal software and service inventories by gathering information about the tools used across different teams.
  • Provide first-line technical support through Slack, assisting with account access, passwords, two-factor authentication, hardware, and software issues while documenting every request.
  • Create and maintain FAQs, user guides, and troubleshooting instructions based on recurring support cases to strengthen the internal knowledge base.
  • Provide operational backup to the IT & Security Administrator during periods of absence, following approved procedures and documentation.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, technical support, or a relevant internship.
  • Confident user of Google Workspace, with a good understanding of everyday productivity and collaboration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of access management principles, including user roles, two-factor authentication, and password managers.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for macOS, Windows, and common computer peripherals.
  • Experience actively using AI-powered tools to improve everyday productivity and work efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and document solutions.
  • Good organizational skills, including the ability to follow established processes, track tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
  • A customer-oriented mindset, with clear written and verbal communication skills and a careful approach to handling confidential information.
  • English proficiency at B1 level or above, sufficient to read and understand technical documentation.
Nice to have
  • Experience working with the Google Workspace Admin Console.
  • Familiarity with SaaS administration, including user roles, software licenses, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Experience using task management or project tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with Notion or similar knowledge management platforms.
  • Basic experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
Benefits:
  • Flexible Benefits Budget: Access to a personalized benefits allowance that can be used for health insurance, professional development, gym memberships, or other services supporting your well-being.
  • Performance Bonuses: Recognition and rewards for outstanding achievements, initiative, teamwork, and meaningful contributions.
  • Remote-First Environment: Work fully remotely, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
  • Meaningful Business Impact: Enjoy an environment with minimal bureaucracy, autonomy in your work, and opportunities to bring your ideas to life.
  • Professional Development: Access to learning opportunities, internal training sessions, and strategic workshops to support your career growth.
