Zusammenfassung

Accelleron is seeking a data migration lead to define and govern the end-to-end data migration strategy for Program Phoenix and future transformations. You will own planning, execution, and cutover activities across global workstreams, coordinating with business and IT teams, partners and vendors.

You will drive extraction, cleansing, validation and migration while establishing long-term data governance, standards and run responsibilities across China and Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years leading data migration initiatives in ERP or digital transformation.
• SAP transformations experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of data migration methodologies, governance, tooling and reconciliation.
• Experience managing complex data lifecycles: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, cutover.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders, IT, partners and vendors across countries.
• Strong SAP process and master data domain knowledge.
• Experience with data migration tools SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SNP.
• Strong PM, planning and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• International and cross-functional work experience.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

With production sites in Switzerland and China, this position has a global scope. Reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain in Switzerland, you will join a skilled IT team to define, govern and continuously improve Accelleron’s enterprise data migration capabilities across business applications and strategic transformation programs.

The selected candidate will act as IS Workstream Lead for Data Migration within Program Phoenix, Accelleron’s SAP S/4HANA transformation program, while establishing long‑term competencies and standards for future transformation initiatives. The role takes end‑to‑end ownership of data migration governance, planning, execution oversight, cutover readiness and post‑go‑live stabilization.

You will drive data extraction, cleansing, validation and migration activities across all business domains, ensuring data quality, compliance and business continuity throughout the transformation journey. The role acts as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, implementation partners and external vendors, ensuring transparency, readiness and successful deployment into the new SAP S/4HANA environment.

Beyond the initial Phoenix transformation, the role will also shape and manage the long‑term perspective of data lifecycle management at Accelleron. This includes operational Run topics outside of Phoenix, such as archiving strategies, continuous data updates, and ensuring that downstream and quality systems have reliable, up‑to‑date test data available to support ongoing business operations, compliance, testing and future improvement initiatives. In the context of a planned landscape for China and Switzerland with a shared underlying development system, this creates an additional strategic challenge: balancing harmonised data governance, reliable test data availability and country‑specific operational requirements across regions.

You would therefore need a strong combination of SAP transformation experience, data management expertise, technical expertise, governance mindset and stakeholder management capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define, maintain and govern the overall data migration strategy for Program Phoenix and future business transformation initiatives.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning, coordination and execution oversight of data migration activities across all business workstreams and deployment waves.
• Establish and govern migration methodologies, templates, quality gates, reconciliation procedures and readiness criteria.
• Drive data extraction, profiling, cleansing, enrichment, validation and migration activities in close collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Define and oversee mock loads, migration testing cycles, dress rehearsals and production migration activities.
• Coordinate data ownership and accountability across business process owners, subject matter experts and implementation partners.
• Ensure migration risks, dependencies, quality issues and data compliance concerns are identified, tracked and proactively resolved.
• Define and execute the integrated cutover plan together with business, IT and implementation partners.
• Lead cutover execution and deployment readiness activities to ensure a controlled and reliable transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Govern hypercare activities following go‑live and coordinate issue resolution, stabilisation and business continuity measures.
• Establish executive‑level reporting, dashboards and decision support artifacts for program leadership and Steering Committees.
• Build and continuously improve Accelleron’s long‑term data migration capabilities, standards, templates and best practices for future programs.
• Define and manage long‑term data lifecycle and Run responsibilities beyond Phoenix, including archiving concepts, recurring data updates, the provision of current test data for quality and validation systems, and governance of shared development landscapes across China and Switzerland.

Your Background & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience leading data migration initiatives within large‑scale ERP or digital transformation programmes.
• Proven experience in SAP transformations, preferably SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies, governance frameworks, migration tooling and reconciliation processes.
• Experience managing complex data migration lifecycles, including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and cutover execution.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, implementation partners and external vendors across multiple functions and countries.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and master data domains, including customers, suppliers, materials, finance and manufacturing‑related data.
• Experience with data migration tools and platforms such as SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SNP or comparable solutions.
• Strong project management, planning, and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in international and cross‑functional environments.
• Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written); German is considered a strong advantage.
