Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company in Zurich is seeking a Data Operations Specialist – Investment Data to maintain and enhance our investment data warehouse, monitor daily Azure pipelines, and ensure clean, consistent data for users. You’ll work in a SQL Server environment and use Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, and Power BI to validate data and automate checks.

You will collaborate with business users to understand requirements and continuously improve data operations within a modern cloud stack.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in data operations, BI support or data warehouse administration.
• Experience in a production environment with monitoring data loads and handling incidents.
• Familiar with investment data concepts and financial services domain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain investment data warehouse in a SQL Server environment.
• Monitor daily data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and related tools.
• Ensure data quality using automated checks and dashboards; investigate discrepancies and resolve them.
• Resolve operational issues; optimize queries and check data consistency.
• Interact with users to understand requirements and improve data user experience.
• Maintain technical documentation.
