Job summary

ACL Partners in Zug is seeking a top-calibre Private Equity Associate to join its investment team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior professionals on new transactions and portfolio company development.

You will build and analyse financial models, conduct company and market assessments, coordinate due diligence, prepare investment memos, and support portfolio companies on value creation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of direct buy-side private equity experience mandatory.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Commercial mindset with genuine interest in investing and building businesses.

Responsibilities

Our client, an established private equity investor based in Zug, is looking for a high-calibre Associate to join its investment team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on new transactions and portfolio company development.

The Role

• Support private equity transactions from initial screening through execution and exit
• Build and analyse financial models, valuations and investment cases
• Conduct detailed company, market and competitive analysis
• Coordinate commercial, financial and legal due diligence workstreams
• Prepare investment memos and materials for investment committee discussions
• Participate in management meetings, adviser discussions and transaction negotiations
• Support portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, performance monitoring and value creation
• Assist with sourcing and evaluation of new investment opportunities

The Profile

• 2-4 years of direct buy-side private equity experience is mandatory; candidates without direct PE investment experience will not be considered
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Excellent academic background
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in investing and building businesses
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a lean, entrepreneurial team
• Fluency in English; German would be advantageous
