Supercomputing Systems in Zürich, Switzerland, offers an internship in Test Engineering focused on Signal Box Technology (80-100%). The role supports testing activities for several months with direct customer contact and hands-on practice in Python and Java.

You will familiarise yourself with the existing system, help create or extend test specifications, and perform tests, either automated or manual, while gaining insight into railway technology and safety-critical infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying electrical engineering or computer science; eager to learn and take on challenges.
• Experience with Python and Java or similar programming languages.
• Good written German skills are required.

Internship at least 5-6 months, start possible immediately

Collaborate on a test system to check the signal box in Java and Python

The following work packages must be implemented:

• Familiarise yourself with the existing system
• Supplement or create test specifications based on the requirements
• Implement (test automation) and/or manually perform the tests

Do you have…

• Interest in verification / test engineering
• Interest in railway technology and safety-critical infrastructure (processes for the development of railway technology, e.g. EN 50716, are part of the work)
• Experience with Python and Java or similar
• Good written German skills
• Enjoyment of the railway topic?
