Hitachi Energy in Switzerland invites you to join our dynamic eMobility team for an internship focused on testing, data analysis and technical documentation. You will contribute to R&D projects, gain hands-on experience with real-world engineering challenges, and collaborate with colleagues from Europe, Asia and North America.

You will develop test plans, document results, and support the standardization of R&D documents, while improving lab processes.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools (MATLAB, Simulink, PSAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to testing and development work for real eMobility, BESS and Data Center connected products.
• Create presentations and documentation for R&D processes.
• Support on standardization of R&D documents like test reports, layouts and inventories.
• Help organize demo and lessons-learned sessions for R&D projects; document actions and follow up with responsible team members.
• Develop handbooks and guides for onboarding and training.
• Conduct tests on samples and products in the lab, including preparing test samples and recording data.
• Analyze test data and report findings to engineers, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Your background

• Currently pursuing or close to completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools (MATLAB, Simulink, PSAD)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset paired with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communicator, fluent in English written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
