Job summary

Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a motivated intern to join our Supply Chain team in Basel for six months, with start in December 2026 or January 2027. You will support procurement activities, supplier communications, and data management in SAP, gaining hands-on experience in a global business aviation environment.

The role emphasizes process improvement, collaboration with planning, logistics and finance, and exposure to Power Platform tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; matriculation during the entire internship period is required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German or French is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational procurement activities, including purchase order creation and follow-up.
• Assist in managing supplier communication to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requirements.
• Monitor and update procurement data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (planning, logistics, finance) to resolve order-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation.
• Review purchase order claims and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
