Bracco is offering an internship in Research and Development focused on advancing a robotic test system for contrast media injectors. The role involves programming the existing robot to autonomously run structured test protocols and building a configurable software framework to operate various sequences.

The project aims to expand the robot's capabilities to cover more test scenarios and edge cases, improving efficiency and reproducibility in CT/MRI testing within a dynamic R&D environment.

Background and Motivation

Contrast media injectors are safety-critical medical devices used in CT and MRI imaging. Verification of their performance is essential but remains largely manual, making testing time-consuming and prone to variability. A robotic test system is already implemented and operational. The next step is to expand its capabilities: enabling it to autonomously execute test protocols, increase flexibility. This project focuses on advancing the existing robotic platform into an intelligent and configurable test automation system for contrast media injectors.
