Enzian Labs AG in Zurich is offering an Analyst Intern role in Private Markets & Valuation (PE/VC), focused on valuation automation and product tooling. This 4-6 month internship places you at the founding team’s edge, collaborating with developers and quants to shape the platform.
You will run live deal decks through the system, draft valuations with the CEO, log precise bug reports, and contribute diligence journey scripts. Fluent English is required; German is a strong plus for DACH decks.
4-6 Months
Are you interested in private equity, venture capital, valuation, and the tooling that will reshape how these markets work — and do you want to sit at a place where exactly these things are being built?
PEX is an early-stage company building a valuation and monitoring platform for private markets, and we are looking for an Analyst Intern to join us.
PEX works at the intersection of private markets, quantitative valuation, and modern software. Our founding team combines deal experience, quant, and engineering.
You will live in the product as our proxy user — the junior deal-side voice inside a founding team that is otherwise heavy on engineering and quant. Concretely:
Run real decks and public cases (Climeworks-class fixtures, live opportunities) through the platform end-to-end
Draft expected valuations and IC-style question lists together with the CEO; What are the "golden cases" we test the product against
File precise, associate-grade bug reports: expected figure, method, and where the UI or model fell short
Document journey scripts (diligence walkthroughs) that we use for demos, QA, and later handoff to a Domain Lead
Contribute a junior red-team lens: "If I were an associate in diligence, what would I distrust here?"
If you have your own idea for a market analysis, a comparable-set study, or a valuation deep-dive — you are encouraged to launch it
A seat on the founding team of a technically ambitious private-markets company
The environment of a venture builder — you work alongside other startups at Enzian Labs in Zurich
Direct work with the CEO and immediate exposure to the quantitative and engineering sides of valuation
Real ownership of your output: your notes, your bug queue, and your golden decks shape the product
Fair compensation for the geography; strong performers may convert to a Junior Analyst track
Very good academic record (Bachelor completed or in progress — thesis stage OK) in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM with a finance angle
First hands-on deal exposure: an internship in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking (M&A), Corporate Development, or top-tier Consulting is a clear plus
Comfortable reading a pitch deck and a simple DCF / comps model — you don't need to be a quant, but you should not bluff about IC or diligence
Analytical, entrepreneurial, and precise in writing — you can turn a messy product session into a clean note
Independent working style, initiative, and a team-oriented attitude
Affinity for startups, private markets, and the tooling gap that PitchBook, Preqin, and Excel leave open
Fluent English required; German is a strong plus for DACH decks and candidates
