Montana Capital Partners in Switzerland seeks an ambitious Private Markets Investor Relations Intern to support fundraising and investor engagement. You will help prepare investor communications, marketing materials, due diligence content, and responses to proposals.

You will work with the IR & Marketing team on CRM records, briefing packs, and trend summaries, gaining exposure to private markets, private equity, and secondaries while developing your professional skills.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing & Communication, or a related field, with strong academic performance
• Internship experience in private markets, asset management, consulting, or a related financial services environment
• Ability to organize and progress multiple tasks in parallel, keeping trackers and deliverables up to date
• Solid PowerPoint skills for producing clean, professional slides and Excel skills for data handling and basic analysis
• Foundational understanding of finance and private markets, ideally with prior exposure to alternatives, private equity, or secondaries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
• Comfort with digital tools and databases (e.g., CRM systems, data rooms, MS365)

• Marketing content development and maintenance: create/update investor materials like pitchbooks, fund presentations, teasers, one-pagers, and fact sheets
• DDQ and RfP support: assist with DDQ/RfP preparation and coordination, sourcing responses from libraries and maintaining content repositories
• Investor communication and events: help prepare investor communications and support annual conferences and other events
• Meeting preparation and CRM support: prepare briefing packs and background research, maintain investor and prospect records in CRM
• Research and market intelligence: conduct desktop research on LPs, competitors, and secondaries trends and summarize findings in briefing notes

Your tasks

As a Private Markets Investor Relations Intern, you will join our Investor Relations & Marketing team and gain first-hand exposure to how a leading private markets platform engages with its institutional investors. Working closely with the IR team, you will support the day-to-day activities that keep our investors well-informed and our fundraising processes running smoothly – from preparing investor communications and marketing materials to supporting due diligence materials and responding to request for proposals. The internship is well suited for a detail-oriented, curious, and motivated student or early career candidate with a genuine interest in private markets. You will have the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in the private markets industry and contribute meaningfully to fundraising and investor engagement initiatives.

• Marketing contentdevelopmentand maintenance: Take an active role in developing, updating, and refreshing investor-facing marketing materials,including pitchbooks, fund presentations, teasers, one-pagers, and fact sheets–with attention to structure, storytelling, and brand consistency
• DDQ andRfPsupport: Support the preparation, drafting, and coordination of DDQs andRfPsfrom prospective and existing investors, sourcing responses from the firm's answer library and helpingmaintainthe DDQ/RfPcontent repository
• Investor communication and events: Assist with the preparation of regular investor communications (letters, update calls) and support the team around the annual investor conference and other investor events
• Meeting preparation and CRM support: Prepare briefing packs and background research ahead of investor meetings, and helpmaintaininvestor and prospect records in the CRM system, including pipeline overviews and standardized reports
• Research and market intelligence: Conduct desktop research on LPs, competitors, and secondaries market trends, and summarize findings into short briefing notes for the team

Your Profile

Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing & Communication, or a related field, with strong academic performance

Experience
