Job summary

BBVA Schweiz AG, based in Zürich, offers a role focused on automating and modernizing processes within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will build scalable dashboards, automate KPI reporting, and explore AI-driven use cases to enhance efficiency and analytics across the BCU department.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate, plus English and Spanish communication abilities.

• Interest and experience with generative AI tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot.

• Documentation and transferring knowledge to non-technical users.
• Additional familiarity with Python, SQL, or Power Apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

About the job

BBVA is a Spanish bank with its Swiss offices located in Zürich. Main learning topics: The primary focus would be on developing solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem and leveraging AI tools to improve BCU’s existing processes. Identify and prioritize automation opportunities, reviewing existing manual processes and redesigning them where necessary before implementing automation. Automate recurring files and monitoring processes, reducing manual consolidation, updating, reconciliation, and tracking activities. Develop scalable dashboards and reporting solutions, structuring data sources and automating the generation of KPIs and visualizations. Automate the preparation of management presentations, including the updating of data, undefined Develop AI use cases for analysis and reporting, primarily leveraging tools available within the Microsoft ecosystem to improve efficiency and analytical capabilities. Ensure the sustainability of implemented solutions, documenting processes, controls, and maintenance procedures, and transferring knowledge to the team before the end of the assignment.

Essential Qualifications, Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in data management and analysis.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft ecosystem tools, particularly Power BI, Power Query and/or Power Automate.
• Interest and practical experience in generative AI tools, especially Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into simple, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement orientation.
• Ability to document solutions and transfer knowledge to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or Power Apps would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
