Job summary

mageba Switzerland is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to streamline sales, logistics, and procurement processes. You will provide admin and operational support to the Sales & Operations team, manage customer orders in the ERP, and coordinate with logistics and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires 3–5 years in supply chain or sales operations, strong organizational skills, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (Swiss Federal VET Diploma in Commerce, EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, sales operations, logistics, procurement, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales & Operations team.
• Process customer orders and ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system.
• Coordinate order fulfillment, shipment scheduling, and delivery tracking in collaboration with logistics providers.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, follow up on outstanding orders, and resolve supply-related issues.
• Prepare quotations, sales reports, and operational performance reports.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding order processing and delivery status.
• Support the resolution of order discrepancies, invoicing issues, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency across sales, logistics, and procurement operations.
