Lonza Group Ltd. in Visp, Switzerland, seeks a motivated Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate for a hands-on role in Quality Control with emphasis on Compliance within GMP/ISO environments. The position offers site‑based work on the lab floor, partnering with QCII labs to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

You will contribute to GMP compliance, audits, and lab excellence. This is a fully site‑based role emphasizing real‑time collaboration, data integrity, and strong quality implementation

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Quality Management, Engineering or related field.
• Interest in Quality Control, Compliance and regulated environments.
• GMP regulations knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and lab personnel.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Good written and verbal English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support QCII laboratories in maintaining GMP, ISO and quality requirements.
• Assist CAPA implementation, investigations, and closure of quality events.
• Collaborate with lab teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Drive data integrity and Good Documentation Practices (GDocP).
• Support 6S activities and improve lab organization and operations.
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, SOPs and compliance programs.
• Contribute to training, GEMBA walks and quality implementation.

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

We are looking for a motivated and curious Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate who is interested in building a career in Quality Control with focus on Compliance within a GMP- and ISO- regulated environment.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly on the laboratory floor, partnering with different QCII laboratories to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and data integrity initiatives.

The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience in Quality Control operations while contributing to projects that directly support GMP compliance, audit readiness, process improvement, and laboratory excellence.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:

• Support QCII laboratories in maintaining compliance with GMP, ISO, and Quality requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Quality Control, Compliance, and regulated environments.
• Basic understanding of GMP regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and laboratory personnel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English German is mandatory
