Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks an Intern Integrated Biologics Mammalian Lab Scale Manufacturing. You will support cleaning validation activities for GMP processes, work within the Operations team, and collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders on site.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in bioprocess operations, documentation, and deviation investigations, while developing a strong foundation in quality and manufacturing excellence at Lonza.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
• Structured, detail oriented and quality-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize and perform in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Ensure timely, high-quality preparation, creation, review, optimization and control of assigned tasks with a Right-First-Time mindset.
• Support manufacturing staff in the field as well as with administrative tasks.
• Assist in collecting supporting information for deviations, change requests, CAPAs and investigations related to cleaning topics.

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

The Intern Integrated Biologics Mammalian Lab Scale Manufactruing provides technical and operational support for GMP manufacturing operations supporting BMS, USP, and DSP. We are looking for an intern to support the high volume of cleaning validation of large-scale stainless-steel bioreactors, media, buffer, and product pool tanks required in our GMP facility.

The role works within the Operations team and will partner closely with all relevant manufacturing stakeholders.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
