Job summary

La Prairie Switzerland is seeking a motivated intern to join the Formula Development Team for six months. You will assist in developing skin care and make-up formulations on lab scale, perform trials, and evaluate results under supervision.

The role requires ongoing study in chemical or life sciences, fluency in English, and proficiency with MS Office. You will gain hands-on experience in formulation, testing, and knowledge sharing within a globally renowned cosmetics group.

Qualifications

• Student or graduate with minimum four successful semesters in chemical or Life Science technologies (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food)
• Ideally practical experience in formulation & physico-chemical analytical methods

Responsibilities

• Support Skin Care & Make-Up formula development and lab-scale formulation testing to manufacture and assess formulas.
• Plan and perform lab trials.
• Evaluate experimental results and hand over to the industrialization team.
• Work independently on tasks within a project.
• Support with organizational tasks.

Education:

Student or graduate with minimum four successful semesters in the field chemical or Life Science technologies (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food)

Ideally practical experience (e.g. during studies) in formulation & physico-chemical analytical methods

Software:

Good knowledge in MS Office

Languages:

Fluent in English
