Tiger Recruitment is helping a leading European robotics company to recruit an interim Strategic Technical Buyer in Switzerland (Zurich area). This 80% role focuses on strategic sourcing across mechanical components, supplier management and commercial negotiations from development through to production.

You will partner with engineering, product development and suppliers to deliver cost, quality and delivery objectives while building a resilient international supply base.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in mechanical/industrial/mechatronics or comparable
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or sourcing
• Proven supplier negotiations experience with measurable commercial results
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical components and assemblies
• Experience with strategic price, contract negotiations, supplier selection and cost-structure analysis
• Fluent business German and English (B2–C1)
• ERP systems experience; Dynamics advantageous

Aufgaben

• Lead the strategic procurement of technically complex mechanical components and assemblies
• Manage sourcing of standardised and catalogue components
• Identify, evaluate and develop national and international suppliers
• Lead complex price, contract and delivery negotiations
• Establish and enforce cost, quality and delivery targets from early product development
• Analyse supplier cost structures and should-cost models
• Develop tailored sourcing and negotiation strategies
• Partner with engineering to translate requirements into sourcing strategies
• Support negotiation of framework agreements, NDAs, SLAs and other contracts
• Drive cost reduction, supplier optimisation and risk mitigation
• Contribute to supplier strategy and resilient supply base
• Support transition of new products from development to series production
