Job summary

Michael Page (Switzerland) is partnering with a Fribourg-based organisation to recruit a Financial Controller for Analysis & Reporting on a temporary basis. You will support the Controlling team with daily financial analysis, data extraction from SAP R/3, and rigorous data quality checks to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires 5 years+ in Controlling/Finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to deliver management-ready presentations in English (German a plus).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Controlling, Finance or Financial Reporting.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SAP R/3 and advanced MS Excel; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Good PowerPoint skills.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a structured and systematic working approach.
• Accurate, reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controlling team in day-to-day financial analysis and reporting activities.
• Extract, validate and analyze financial data from SAP R/3 and existing reporting systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency through quality checks and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analyses, including root cause analysis and identification of key financial drivers.
• Analyze existing financial reports to identify trends, deviations and inconsistencies.
• Prepare clear, concise and management-ready PowerPoint presentations.
• Support monthly reporting, forecasting and planning activities as required.
